Nutrition Program

Since January 2008, SCUCS has been administering the Camden County Nutrition Program through a grant from the Camden County Division of Senior Services – ADRC.

Meals are planned by a registered dietician to provide one third (1/3) of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for nutrients for adults.

CONGREGATE MEAL SITES
Congregate Meal Sites or Nutrition Sites are senior centers where nutritionally balanced meals are served to residents 60 years or older and their spouses. In addition to meals, educational and recreational activities are provided at each site. Reservations are required at all sites and donations of $2.50 per meal are requested of those attending. Transportation is available at some sites.

Meals On Wheels
Our Home Delivered Meals project consists of a daily meal delivered to the client’s home.
Meals can be purchased privately for $7.85 per meal (one meal per day) and will be billed monthly. The cost of these meals includes delivery.
