Food Programs

SCUCS is dedicated to ensuring nutritional security and independence for Camden County residents through our food and shopping support initiatives.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry at Senior Citizens United Community Services (SCUCS) provides nutritional support to low-income seniors aged 60 and older in Camden County. Eligible individuals can access assistance once a month to receive a supply of non-perishable food items designed to provide six days of meals. This program serves as a vital resource for those facing food insecurity, helping to supplement their monthly grocery needs.

Shut-In Shopping

The Shut-In Shopping Program at Senior Citizens United Community Services (SCUCS) is a bi-weekly service dedicated to supporting homebound seniors aged 60 and older who are unable to shop for themselves. This program matches clients with volunteer shoppers who assist with purchasing necessary groceries and supplies. Please note that this service depends on the availability of volunteers, and clients are responsible for covering the cost of all their purchases.
