SCUCS Food Programs

Food Pantry
SCUCS always retains a fully stocked food shelf for Camden County seniors 60+ years of age in need of emergency food. Once individual identified as being in need of assistance, they may pick up two prepared food bags of non-perishable items each month. Clients without the means to pick up their food may be eligible to have their food delivered to their home if a volunteer is available in their area. Items for this program are donated by schools, churches and companies that want to help end hunger in their communities. If you, or anyone you know needs this service, call (856) 456-1121.
Shut-In Shopping
Shut-in Shopping is a bi-weekly shopping service available to homebound Camden County seniors not able to shop for themselves. Clients are responsible for the cost of all purchases. A screened volunteer will take a shopping list to the supermarket or pharmacy to purchase up to 20 items for the client’s’ use only. The service is based on the availability of volunteers. If you, or anyone you know needs this service, call (856) 456-1121.
