The mission of SCUCS is to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens and people with disabilities, and especially those with the greatest socio-economic need.
Our goal is to keep older adults and people with disabilities living independently and active in the community and prevent unnecessary institutionalization, by offering an array of services to address the needs of our consumers and provide support for their caregivers.
NEWS: The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs will be holding a pre-screening lottery for housing vouchers in all New Jersey counties. Pre-applications will be accepted ONLINE only. The open enrollment period is Monday, June 13, 2016 at 9:00 am to Friday, June 17, 2016 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time. Because pre-applications will be selected through a lottery process, it does not matter when you submit your pre-application as long as you do it during the open enrollment period. Every pre-application submitted during the open enrollment period has a chance of being selected during the lottery.
